TEST RESULTS
An electrolyzer with very little electronic control was tested to ensure that the technology was sound and would produce at least some fuel savings.
A total of 42,958 miles were run, primarily from Detroit Mi. to Norfolk Va.
Payloads were mostly automotive freight and ranged from 20,000 lbs to 45,000 lbs.
The test truck had a totally mechanically controlled "BIG CAM IV-400" Cummins Engine
A mechanically controlled engine will not will not automatically compensate for changes
The engine was NEVER idled, assuring that only actual driving time was tested
The following observations were made...
There was a fuel saving of 10.145% when using the Hydra-Boost
There was an apparent feeling of more power, particularily on small grades and take off
